Everyone knows the band Venom right?

They actually coined the Term "Black Metal" way back in 1982 with their 2nd release.

One of the great things about Venom was that before they got signed, they never supported anyone! Never! They could proudly say that they headlined every gig they evcr did

In my opinion a genius move on their behalf - not only do you have the bragging rights to any record label, magazine or blog that you talk to that YOU HAVE ALWAYS HEADLINED - you can actually win over the support bands crowd creating new fans for yourself and if you are clever you can even make money out of it!
